Welcome to my first day at "My Evergreen Biz". I am always curious about the path that lead a person to open their business and their insights into what does and does not work. It is my plan to interview and blog about every business in Evergreen from I-70 to Kittredge. I also plan to blog about the non-profits, the artists, musicians, authors, eccentrics and eclectics.
The only way I know how to make this work is by personally visiting every business and asking you to tell me your story. I want your input and opinions. What can we do to make our current businesses more profitable and make our business community stable? If you have had a business that has closed in the last five years, I want your input too.

Evergreen, Colorado is a piece of Paradise, but as I look around at the empty commercial and retail spaces, I become concerned about the future of our community. It is my intent to aggressively promote our community with the hopes of attracting small businesses employing between 50 and 300 people to Evergreen.
