Here's a New Look in Business Signage!

Make your business image pop with the custom look of a tile mural that reflects the message you want to protray to your customers and clients. What does your current signage say about your business!

When Lisa Wood wanted signage that reflected and captured the feel of Go Paint!, she contacted local artist, Virginia Brightman, to create a tile mural for Go Paint!

Jillian Eberheart, Virginia Brightman, Katie Eckis and Philip Newsom are now available to create hand painted, custom tile murals for your business or home. The tile mural becomes a timeless piece of art and signage that transcends the typical.

The artist can reproduce any photo, concept or original work of art. The murals have become popular with kitchen and bath designers as backsplashes and inserts that reflect their clients' personal style. This is a beautiful design solution for rooms that do not have a mountain view.  You can bring the beauty of mountains, or the works of the great masters into any space.
Lisa will work with you or your interior designer to match your colors and decor, the possibilities are endless.

Lisa invites you to stop into Go Paint! in the Heart of Evergreen, Colorado, to view murals and samples of the artists' work. Visit the Go Paint! website for more pictures of custom tile murals: http://www.gopaintfun.com/

Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. With all the delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads it is easy to forget that the Java Groove also offers truffles and bakery items.

Milagro Art Work - The Winterfest Arts and Craft Show

The annual Winterfest Arts and Crafts Show produced by the Center for the Arts (Evergreen) attracts amazing and diverse artist from across the state, like Saul Lerma and his wife Dee.

We use wood lovingly resurrected from 1800's to early 1900's homestead barns and corrals or other unique sources from that era.  The wood is washed, cut, then assembled to make crosses and three-dimensional framed portraits of Southwest missions.  The picture is a mirror-backed, hand-cut mission with solid or patterned material surrounding it then finishing touches of leather, semi-precious stones and gems, beads, conchos and precious metal crosses attached to the corners. These pieces sell for $850 to $1500, according to the quality of material and the level of detail involved.  The barn wood crosses that we also make average $25 to $150
Please go to http://www.miagroartwork.com/ to view the gallery of art and learn more about the artist.

Spirit Horse - Robyn Hanna, The Winterfest Art and Craft Show

Robyn describes the "Spirit Horse" as a bit of Nature and Nurture and a Whisper of Whimsy, of gathered treasures that would be found on a woodland hike: pine cones, twigs, and feathers.  Taking these gifts from Mother Nature and sewing them together with hand-dyed fabrics to create unique sculptured horses with embellishments of beads to add a bit of romance and sparkle.

Robyn explains: A long process from start to finish, I make the Spirit Horses in "herds", several horses at a time, that emerge with each step into their own personality. Like snowflakes, no two are alike. I watch as each little horse grows in my hands, I see changes in expression and soul that will guide me to giving it a name to match it's spirit.

I love marrying the different materials together.  he trinkets I've found, the ones I've made and those I've searched out. Bringing them together into the image of such majestic creatures.  Horses have always inspired me with their beauty and spirit.  As they brighten my life every day, I hope my Spirit Horses will bring a little light to whomever they encounter.

Murder Mystery Dinner

The Brookside Room at the Brook Forest Inn was beautifully decorated to reflect a 1967's nightclub in the mountains. The tables were set, the wine poured. Each guest received their "top secret" information packet, containing the mission, clues, the location of a gun, money, their character information and name tag and The Rules.  The Rules are simple: Lie, Deny, Steal, Cheat, Blackmail, whatever it takes to get the most money, the most guns and solve the murder. And, it helps to find the body. They were looking for Biff Bond. The guest registry for "The Royale" included Sir Jam Bond, owner of the Juicey Jam Co., Miss Goodnights and Miss Goodthighs, and Le Cheap and Frau Hickcup, to name a few of the guests on the extensive and questionable list. It appeared all was going well, and with such decorum.

Murder Mysteries at the Brook Forest Inn

It was a lovely group in gowns and suits, sipping Kir Royales in the lounge. They had requested the theme of the Murder Mystery to be the 1967 movie, Casino Royale. The special occasion was a 60th birthday and an 80th birthday. So on this night each had a role to play, a body to find, a murderer in their mist and a traitor. The Inn was filled with hidden guns and hidden agendas and blackmail money. But, they were a civilized well bred group - What could go wrong!

Pangaea Carpets - Handmade Carpets

Rugs are the foundation for almost all design work. They not only provide tactile and visual warmth, they also ground and define space. I am constantly looking for rugs capable of expressing that foundation.

You can put your trust in me to help you acquire truly beautiful carpets and textiles. I sell value, but getting what you pay for is only part of the equation here. The feeling of quality and timelessness transferred from the "authentic" antique or decorative carpet is a truly sublime experience.

I would like to assure you that you may have faith in my aesthetic taste. I have sold many antique and decorative carpets to others and I hope to sell a piece of history to you too.

Mountain Kitchen and Bath at the Evergreen Design Center

Wendy Odell, and Lisa Wood (Go Paint Custom Tiles) in the Mountain Kitchen and Bath Showroom
Wendy and Max Odell, owners of Mountain Kitchen and Bath Design, believe the secret to being successful in business is to “do what you say you are going to do and do it right the first time.”

Wendy and Max have remodeled over a dozen of their own homes as they relocated on numerous occasions throughout their careers. They know what it is like to live through a total kitchen and bath remodel as they have done it many times for themselves. So they try and make it as painless as possible. Max was a plumber's apprentice for two years, worked with electronics and electrical for 30 years, and is self taught in sheetrock and cabinetry. Wendy's passion for design allows her the understanding and compassion to help other people make their dreams a reality.

As a detail oriented person, Wendy’s desire is to provide personal service to each of her clients. As a result, she puts a lot of energy and time into each project beginning with the initial consultation. Following that, she will walk you through the design phase and product selection, provide project management for installation through final completion. “I love to walk in beforehand and envision what the finished product will look like. However, I get the most satisfaction out of seeing the outcome through my clients’ eyes. If I’ve done my job successfully, their ideas and needs will have been translated into something they’re excited to come home to.”
