The last Friday of each month is the Art Gallery Walk. Each gallery hosts an art reception with a featured artist, wine and various snacks. Casa Del Sol, Cactus Jacks, The Little Bear, and the Ice House all have live music. The little boutiques are open and main street is filled with friendly faces. Eventually everyone ends up at the Wild Eye Gallery. Dennis and Joan Dunn opened the Wild Eye Gallery six years ago and have exhibited countless artists. This was their LAST Last Friday Art Gallery Walk. They are closing the gallery and moving the framing business to Denver.
The gallery was filled with friends, all bringing bottles of wine, best wishes, and sadness over the lost of a beautiful art gallery. Dennis and Joan have had a positive impact on so many artist, the business community and the various organizations they have been active in.
A wake will be held for the Wild Eye Gallery at the Stagecoach Sports Grill on August 21, at 7:00 and Ironwood Rain will be performing.
