Baby is a new patient at Family Veterinary Hospital, located at 3951 Evergreen Parkway. Dr. Kevin Inman and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Lawrence met while attending Colorado State. They worked for a large Veterinary Hospital in California where they realized that their philosophy and working style was more suited to a small town. Kevin grew up in the area and his parents still live here. ( His brother Brian, is the coach at Clear Creek High School). They believe that the patients owners should be as involved as possible, they educate them on the procedures and alternatives available. Family Veterinary has a "comfort room" to allow a quiet
place for their clients to retreat when the hard decisions have to be made. As parents the have made Family Veterinary kid friendly. There is a play area, a coloring area and they offer juice and snacks for the kids. They allow children in the exam room and provide little lab jackets and stethoscopes. Kevin became interested in becoming a vet around the age of nine when Dr. Doug Hill allowed him to say good by to his beloved dog. Kevin brings that lesson in compassion into his working relationship with his clients and patients.
