PONDEROSA MARKET and SPIRITS is on the Evergreen Parkway Access Rd. (next to Xcel) It is the ultimate in convenience, gas, groceries, alcohol. And, there's a car wash behind Ponderosa Market, you can take care of all your Saturday errands in one stop. The selection of wine is extensive and the pricing is less than the other liquor stores in the area.
Mike and Fred, the proprietors, are brothers who were looking for a quality of life. They did research throughout the country for a community that fit their criteria. It says a lot about Evergreen when people can live anywhere and their choice is Evergreen.
Mike and Fred have owned Ponderosa Market and Spirits for a year. They know their customers by name and constantly looking for better ways to serve them with speciality liquors, beers, and wines. Fred has owned restaurants and is very excited about adding a small kitchen to Ponderosa Market. He plans to serve fresh deli style sandwiches. (So, this means you can get gas, milk, wine and lunch - that fits into my busy schedule.)
The thing that Mike and Fred are most excited about is that they have been able to provide jobs for people in Evergreen and when they talk of expansion they are referring to providing more jobs. This is true community spirit and commitment to their new hometown.
